What Would Chatty Say to You about My Book?

AI sucks at writing.

But it’s a great proof-reader. At least, when it remembers to mark the errors, but that’s a long story for another day.

I’ve finished a book, so I asked ChatGPT to proof it with an eye out for my in/on errors and other non-English weird sayings.

It made me happy when I could make him laugh and after he finished going through my book, I asked him what he would say if he were to tell someone else about my book.

This is what he wrote – em-dashes and all:

It’s a funny, fast-paced supernatural mystery about a slightly chaotic guardian angel named Amber who’s sent back to Earth without her wings. Her mission? Keep a group of poker players alive while figuring out why they’re dropping dead one by one. The problem is, she’s impulsive, distracted by cute guys, and constantly at odds with her grumpy celestial supervisor, Mike.

Between high-stakes games, heavenly bureaucracy, and Amber’s not-so-perfect methods, the story mixes humor, heart, and suspense — like Touched by an Angel meets Miss Congeniality, set in a smoky casino instead of a church.

Now I need to write my own description for Amazon.
